Before the Rail Trail (Joppa Flats, Newburyport, MA)
This painting shows the history of Newburyport. I painted this mostly plein air and finished it in my studio. This is a happy spot that walkers and runners made into a trail and has many happy memories. You will reminisce about walking there every time you see this painting.
Harmony
Sometimes when the ocean is emerald green, it brings all nature and you into harmony, I used the colors in the ocean and sky in the surf, and the color of the sand in the sky and clouds.

18×24 Oil on Linen I had Brian Sheehy pose for me a while back when I saw him in his vintage base ball uniform. I had put this away for many years and then one day I thought to myself “I should really finish this!” I am glad I did!
Merrimack Valley Golf Course

I love running by this golf course as it is so beautiful any time of year. I enjoyed painting this scene on site.
After the Storm
I love how the bright iced trees were lit up as we were in the White Mountains, NH.

A Christmas Story (Pastel Painting)
The Christmas Story is one of my favorite movies. My husband gave me a leg lamp one Christmas and I knew I had to paint it. I added the red bar of soap and the broken glasses to go along with the movie theme.

Rolling in the Deep – I love the ocean and often times go to beach and just sit and watch the waves roll in. The majesty of the sea never ceases to amaze me. I love to paint on location. It reminds me that Someone has always got your back. A beautiful place to sit and watch the waves rolling in the deep.
