I love running by this golf course as it is so beautiful any time of year. I enjoyed painting this scene on site.
The inspiration for this painting is the New England Seashore which I visit very often. I walk along the beach and feel God’s breathing as the waves ebb and flow. I love the synergy and energy of the ocean.

“Joy” is a 10×20 pastel painting. Joy is my mantra for 2024 and nothing brings me more joy than the ocean. I intend to share joy, receive joy, be joy and enjoy and this painting sums that up.

This painting came about after buying fresh lemons and seeing how wonderfully they played against the blue pitcher. I thought the cherry was a nice touch!

I was lucky enough to get a photo of Nubble Light reflected in water, which was so exciting I knew I had to paint it. This 8×10 oil painting on panel is now one of my favorites.
