I went shopping in my own yard and found the leaves, pumpkins, and daisy. I wanted to show texture so there is fruit, vegetables, flowers, combined with candles, fires, silver, glass and cloth.

This painting came about after buying fresh lemons and seeing how wonderfully they played against the blue pitcher. I thought the cherry was a nice touch!

After the Storm
I love how the bright iced trees were lit up as we were in the White Mountains, NH.
the storm had just ended and to me the trees were illuminating home and strength.
