Newburyport and Plum Island are two of my favorite places to go to see the sun rise and set. This painting was done just at the beginning of the road leading into the Plum Island Parker River National Wildlife Refuge in which I was honored to watch the sun go down.

Robert Frost Farm in Spring
12 x 16 Pastel
I created this painting at the request of someone who liked my oil painting of the Robert Frost Farm in Fall and wanted me to create a spring or summer painting of it.
I loved the tree as it seemed to have a heart on it. His poem “The Tree Outside My Window” prompted me to paint the tree in the manner of which I felt Robert Frost may have seen it from his window.
This painting comes framed with a gold frame chosen especially for this piece with Tru-vue AR Glass.
