I went shopping in my own yard and found the leaves, pumpkins, and daisy. I wanted to show texture so there is fruit, vegetables, flowers, combined with candles, fires, silver, glass and cloth.

Winter in the White Mountains was painted because of the natural beauty Mt. Washington displays throughout the year.
I loved the way the trees that are so indicative to this area bring warmth to this painting.
