I went shopping in my own yard and found the leaves, pumpkins, and daisy. I wanted to show texture so there is fruit, vegetables, flowers, combined with candles, fires, silver, glass and cloth.

A Christmas Story (Pastel Painting)
The Christmas Story is one of my favorite movies. My husband gave me a leg lamp one Christmas and I knew I had to paint it. I added the red bar of soap and the broken glasses to go along with the movie theme.

Synergy
The inspiration for this painting is the New England Seashore which I visit very often. I walk along the beach and feel God’s breathing as the waves ebb and flow. I love the synergy and energy of the ocean.
Sailing Away
Sailing Away 20×10 oil on canvas. I saw these sailboats on a beautiful day in New England and knew I had to paint them! The sky and water were so blue and it was a perfect day to be sailing and watching sailboats!
