I got to sit on a bench and paint this scene one sunny afternoon. I love how the waves were crashing and the beach roses were growing between the cracks of the rocks. They are true survivors!
The inspiration for this painting is the New England Seashore which I visit very often. I walk along the beach and feel God’s breathing as the waves ebb and flow. I love the synergy and energy of the ocean.
The palette knife adds energy and depth to a painting. Using a palette knife to paint a seascape creates energy and liveliness – It feels like you are there! 10×20 Oil on Canvas framed in a black frame. This piece is a favorite and a great addition to your home!
I was lucky enough to get a photo of Nubble Light reflected in water, which was so exciting I knew I had to paint it. This 8×10 oil painting on panel is now one of my favorites.
Winter in the White Mountains was painted because of the natural beauty Mt. Washington displays throughout the year.
I loved the way the trees that are so indicative to this area bring warmth to this painting.
This painting is 12×16 and framed with black wood and True-vue Anti Reflective Glass
This was painted from a recent trip to Alaska. I loved the way the glacier is showing on top of the page causing the small waterfall.
This painting has a two inch wood frame and True-vue Anti Reflective glass.
11×14 Pastel
Summer Vibes is a 12×16 oil painting. Painting beach scenes is one of my favorite things because the beach is where I would rather be…anytime, always. This painting brings you back to a July day at high tide. You can feel the sensation of summer at the beach.
“Red Carnations” is a favorite painting that was created from a gift of flowers someone gave me. The pink glasses are part of my mother’s antique collection. This would look good on any wall-festive and beautiful.
