“Rockport Afternoon” is a n 11×14 painting I did of a sailboat moored in Rockport. I happened to be walking by and noticed this scene in between two buildings. Hardly noticeable from the street and if you didn’t glance over, you would miss it.

This painting shows the history of Newburyport. I painted this mostly plein air and finished it in my studio. This is a happy spot that walkers and runners made into a trail and has many happy memories. You will reminisce about walking there every time you see this painting.
