Mindy’s Place is a 16×20 oil painting based on the barn and horse named Mindy. This is part of the John Greenleaf Whittier Birthplace in Haverhill, MA. One day as I was passing this barn, the red flared up so bright and I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw this beautiful horse and I knew I had to paint it!

“A Perfect Beach Day!” is a painting I did of the sand dunes at Wingaersheek Beach in Gloucester. It is 11×14 oil on linen and it is framed in a black frame with gold inside.
I got to sit on a bench and paint this scene one sunny afternoon. I love how the waves were crashing and the beach roses were growing between the cracks of the rocks. They are true survivors!
