Sailing Away 20×10 oil on canvas. I saw these sailboats on a beautiful day in New England and knew I had to paint them! The sky and water were so blue and it was a perfect day to be sailing and watching sailboats!
After the Storm
I love how the bright iced trees were lit up as we were in the White Mountains, NH.
the storm had just ended and to me the trees were illuminating home and strength.

I went shopping in my own yard and found the leaves, pumpkins, and daisy. I wanted to show texture so there is fruit, vegetables, flowers, combined with candles, fires, silver, glass and cloth.

A Christmas Story (Pastel Painting)
The Christmas Story is one of my favorite movies. My husband gave me a leg lamp one Christmas and I knew I had to paint it. I added the red bar of soap and the broken glasses to go along with the movie theme.
