I went shopping in my own yard and found the leaves, pumpkins, and daisy. I wanted to show texture so there is fruit, vegetables, flowers, combined with candles, fires, silver, glass and cloth.

Enchanted is a pastel painting of Sir Lawrence Alma Tadema home in London. I loved the house and was surprised to find it was a famous house after I photographed it!

A Christmas Story (Pastel Painting)
The Christmas Story is one of my favorite movies. My husband gave me a leg lamp one Christmas and I knew I had to paint it. I added the red bar of soap and the broken glasses to go along with the movie theme.
