I saw the rainbow at a tree farm we always got our Christmas trees from that was now left abandoned with just the wrapping of the Christmas tree wires
I went back to my studio and painted a scene I was so familiar with. My family had spent so much time there cutting down our Christmas Trees from the time our children could remember. It provided many happy years of finding the exact perfect Christmas tree to have in our home. Sometimes we all agreed right away, and sometimes it took hours. My children didn’t like to agree right away, they liked to roam the vast fields of trees with sled and saw in tow. So much fun, so many memories!
Over twenty years of memories, for us and for many other people, are now wrapped up in this painting.
This painting comes framed in a beautiful gold frame.
